DPDP Compliance
Tabbly supports customers operating under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and related rules, when those customers request DPDP-aligned contractual and operational arrangements.
How Tabbly approaches DPDP
For customers who request DPDP-oriented support, Tabbly can work as a data processor / service provider with respect to personal data the customer submits into Tabbly for voice AI use cases. In that model, the customer typically remains the Data Fiduciary for end-user and employee data collected through their campaigns and agents.
What we can enable on request
- Contractual language via a Data Processing Addendum describing purpose limitation, security safeguards, and deletion or return of personal data.
- India data residency options so that covered datasets can be stored and processed in India where the customer’s order requires it.
- Assistance with reasonable data-principal requests that must be executed through the customer’s product account or documented instructions to Tabbly.
- Reasonable cooperation on security questionnaires, breach notification timelines, and vendor due diligence for Indian regulated or enterprise buyers.
Customer responsibilities
Customers who request DPDP-aligned setups remain responsible for lawful collection of personal data, providing required notices/consents to data principals, configuring agent scripts and CRM destinations appropriately, and instructing Tabbly only to process data for legitimate purposes. Tabbly’s Terms and Privacy Policy continue to apply except where a signed DPDP/DPA arrangement expressly modifies them for that customer.
